Flashbacks from Spring 2013
I'm just now getting around to posting pics of random things that have happened over the last 2 or 3 months before baby Levi arrived. Between moving, settling into our new place, working full-time, doctor visits, and being "mom" to a 2 year old, things were a little hectic to say the least.

Welcome Baby Levi
Saturday, April 6, 2013 was a beautiful spring day- the perfect day to welcome our new bundle of joy! Welcome Levi Adrian Bricker- 7 lbs., 15 oz., and 21 in.
His delivery was better than textbook. Since I had been dilated at 5 cm. for almost 2 weeks and my labor wasn't progressing, my doctor and I mutually decided that induction would be a good option for us. So, he scheduled it for April 3rd, however, it was cancelled that morning because the Labor and Delivery unit was overflowing with patients. We tried again the next morning.... and the next morning...same thing...no available rooms for us. Apparently, it was a good week for having babies! Finally, on Saturday, we were told they finally had a room for us. We arrived at the hospital at 7:45 and they got us prepped and settled right away. They started my Pitocin drip, broke my water at 12:45 and at 1:55 p.m., after pushing for maybe 10 minutes, baby Levi made his entry into the world. A perfectly healthy bundle of joy- we couldn't have asked for anything better. Once again, God has truly revealed His grace to us through this new blessing of life. My heart overflows with joy over this precious gift from above.

Finally settled
After two months of major remodeling...we are finally settled into our new place! (We actually moved in back in late January and I'm just now getting around to posting this.) The mountain of boxes in our garage is slowly starting to diminish. For the sake of my sanity, I really hope we won't have to move again for a really long time!
I started maternity leave this week and while I do feel a tad bit guilty each morning as Adam leaves for work, the guilt quickly disappears as soon as my little munkchin awakes and playtime begins. I'm loving this time before the baby arrives so I can spend some much-needed mother-daughter time with my little girl.
As for baby, he is due to arrive any day now. Even though my official due date isn't until April 7th, I was already dilated 4 cm when I went to the doctor 5 days ago. He said it could be any time now, however, we're still waiting on our little one to make his grand appearance. In the meantime, Addison and I are taking lots of trips to the park, having tea parties, and sleeping in while we can :)
